YESTERDAY, dinner at Manhattan Fish Market! Shopping spree at Daiso!
We met Geok's boyfriend, it was quite awkward at first but then it became
funny cos we started to outcast her and we made it pretty obvious :P
Alyssa: Trix I think you look like a Thai tourist today.
Me: Reallly?! Got meh??!
Alyssa: Yes, your slingbag and everything. Right Cheryl?
Cheryl: Huh? Thai tourist?
Me: Cheryl say no. Dont agree with her!
Cheryl: No la...I think...you look more like an Indonesian tourist.
DIAO. Thanks man! How helpful. Hmph, I love my comfy outfit :)

OH before dinner, I was doing something reeallyy brave.
I was shopping. Shopping alone. Shopping alone in Orchard Rd ;D
I have no idea since when did I become such a loner but I have to say
it isnt that bad :) Still, I'd prefer to have SS with me X)

365 Days

We've had our fair share of laughter, tears and mushy moments. We've held hands, shared hugs and had our 1st kiss. We've squabbled over the littlest things, like when you did not allow me to buy a DSLR camera, pooey ): We've been together for 365 days, all the ups&downs and crazy under-the-umbrella times X) We've talked about Our future. Inside, Im scared. 365 days seem a lil too short when measured against a lifetime of commitment. I tell myself, dont think so far, dont think too much, treasure every moment together and live it to the fullest :) With you in army and me going off to NTU, Im not too sure how things will change in the next few years but right this very moment, Im happy to say, Im still not sick of you :P And Im veryvery proud to be your girlfriend. Though I only get to spend a few hours with you each week, everytime I receive an sms or a call from you, my heart still flutters and floats around with excitement.
Sweetheart, its been 365 days and it still feels like honeymoon (: (:

Right this moment

Im excited about:
1. Daddy coming home this friday!
2. Mummy bringing us to go watch The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian!
3. Amazing Race on 14June BECAUSE my dear pear says she will
come and visit me! Though she did add that she's changed her mind
when I told her I will give her a big kiss X) XP XD
4. Outing with My Lovelies on 22nd June!
5. SS's POP next wednesday! Finally!
6. A little surprise for him I have up my sleeves!
7. An investment Im going to make!

This list can go on and on but ok that's all for now,
any more excitement and I think I will need CPR :P

National Youth Envirolympics Challenge 2008

Yesterday was spent with a whole lot of jc students from various schools.
Its the dry run for the National Youth Envirolympics Challenge 2008
which is gonna be held on 14June :D Cheryl and I felt so old just being
with all the juniors, so we ended up pretending to be j1s from tjc :P
We are station masters for the game Poison Water, but fyi the game has
absolutely nothing to do with water haha except for an imaginary river.
Anyways, our station will be at Pasir Ris Town Park! So if anyone wants
to be nice and visit us with bubbletea or something on 14 June, we will
really appreciate it. Psst, we'll be in bright green tees! XD

Oh and seeing all the jc students made us really nostalgic about
the happy times when we were in jc and also the much cheaper
transport fare. Boo. We miss the double teet when we board the bus )=

Just before I pop off for the weekends, I just wanna say,
I love my lovelies much much and even though we're all going
off to different universities, we must stay in touch and meet
up as often as possible yea ;)

To maintain the good image of the University, you are reminded that you must be properly attired in a manner befitting the status of university students when you are on campus.
You are not allowed to wear the following in lecture theatres/ tutorial rooms/ laboratories/ workshops/ library/ offices:
Attire: sleeveless T-shirts, singlets, shorts, attire printed with offensive or obscene wordings,revealing attire or mini-skirts
Footwear: slippers and sandals without heel straps

Im not allowed to wear shorts when I start school ?! -jaw drops-
Oh gosh, I better start stocking up on jeans.

I guess Im really going

I have accepted NTU (:
SS's still waiting for NTU's letter, but I've encouraged him to
go for SMU, dont ask me why, Im just biased.

Im happy about my decision but I cannot deny, I am very scared.
If one set of polarities defines how I feel now, it is the way I find myself
pulled between excitement and fright.
Living with a stranger, making new friends, doing art instead of studying.
Unchartered waters ahead. I really hope I'll have a pleasant roommate,
make nice, true friends and enjoy plus excel at what I will be doing.

I'll let the river take me but not change me,
unless its for the better.

Found: Hanuta

Surprise, surprise! SS found Hanuta, the chocolate wafer biscuit I've been
searching for like, forever :D :D :D

To say they're delicious, is a total understatement. yumms :B

Two times in a row?

That day, SS and I had dinner at Fish & Co, the glass house (:
It was my very first time at the glass house and service was excellent,
as usual. Their enthusiasm and professionalism is marvellous.
However, something freaky happened while we were there. We were
seated on the first floor cos the 2nd floor was full. Halfway through our
meal, a glass cup dropped from the 2nd floor and smashed onto the ground
just behind the table where a family of 3 was seated. We were one table away.
No one was hurt, but I was shocked nonetheless.

Then when we were just about to leave, another glass cup dropped from the
2nd floor again. This time, it fell right onto the chair of the table where the
family of 3 were seated, but very fortunately, they left the place already
so that seat was vacant. If it had been just moments earlier, someone
could have been injured real badly ):

To the person who made up almost all of my happy memories in tkgs;
Yes, there will always always be a good reason for whatever good/bad
that happens. The reason may not be very obvious now, but somewhere
down the road, Im sure it'll be. Its never the end ok, there are still
alot of other options available and each and every one of those option
will open more doors. No matter what, all of us will be right behind you yups (:

To the person who sat beside me for 2 years;
Cheer up sweetie, sometimes things in life may not go the way you
wanted/wished/prayed it would go. Yes, its disappointing especially
when you've put in effort that is umpteen times that of the queue
at Ben&Jerry's free cone day. But dont let disappointment take away
your faith ok. This is not the end of anything, its only the beginning.
Remember your motto, fight hard (:

And I just wanna say, we are 18 years old and we still have a long road ahead.
Whatever seems to be happening now, no matter how unpleasant, may or may not
alter the path we're about to take. But it'll definitely not change
how we can turn out to be. For those who have been disappointed over and over
again, hold on. Cos for all you know, your turning point maybe coming very soon.

Up and about again

Hello Im back! I was down with fever and sorethroat the whole weekend ):
It was the worst sorethroat I've ever had in my whole life, serious.
I kept refusing to go to the doctor because I've recovered from sorethroats w/o
any doctor's help before. But well, I gave in on Monday, cos the pain was
excruciating. And I didnt know I was running a temperature until Dr Tan
told me. I insisted the sorethroat was caused by Lays-Sour Cream & Onion
potato chips, Dr Tan looked at me and said, "No, no, dont blame the potato
chips, potato chips wont cause a sorethroat UNLESS...you chose not to share
it and consume everything by yourself. Did you?" :X

Oh anyways, Im feeling much much better already (:
And Im in a jolly good mood cos it totally feels like holiday!
I've managed to upload photos I've taken over the past few weeks (:
I've spent more quality time with mummy all these while cos she was on mc too.
Im almost done with my animation demo reel for Intense, which is due next friday.
And I've been hooked on Gossip Girl, its a very nice show starring
Leighton Meester and Blake Lively. Hot (:

Turquoise Room

We had our belated Mummy's day lunch at Turquoise Room in Gillman V.
It was a nice experience minus the part where a huge bee kept flying around.
Im not exaggerating, the bee was gigantic. The place we were seated at had
aircon but the french doors were kept open to allow fresh air
(and unfortunately, a bee) to enter.
Food was ok but they could have nicer looking menus :X

Sakae Again!

On 17 May, SS booked out after throwing grenades, so cool! Then mummy
picked us and we went to HCJC to watch a drama production by their
English Literature, Drama, Debate and Film Society (ELDDFS) entitled,
"How The Other Half Loves" by Alan Ayckbourn.
My cousin was one of the lead actresses and even though Im not an avid fan of
theatre performances, I have to say it was very good. The storyline was full of
twists and turns plus a pinch of Desperate Housewives in it :)
And the script was extremely witty. All in all, 2 thumbs up! :D

After everything ended, SS and I cabbed down to Changi Airport
for Sakae Supper Buffet :D :D :D

We ate so much until the silly boy couldnt smile XD

On 15 May, I finally met up with the Lovelies (minus eilania) for Sakae
buffet at Capitol CPF Building (thanks Alyssa for the correction!)
Anyways, it was a hilarious + crazy + wonderful night, ate so much and
laughed even more :D I was so afraid the food in my tummy would burst out
through my belly button XP
Cheryl baked cookies for all of us :D Looked nice, smelt nice, tasted nice (:

This was the advice Alyssa gave me when I got attached and its the very
advice that has been glued into my head all the way till now ;)
